Masatomo Sudo Hand-Drawn Shikishi

Masatomo Sudo Conan Hand-Drawn Shikishi

A rare, one-of-a-kind Detective Conan shikishi personally hand-drawn and signed by Japanese animator and longtime character designer Masatomo Sudo.

Sudo has played a major role in shaping the animated visual identity of Detective Conan, helping define how Conan Edogawa and the series’ cast are presented on screen. Because of his close and longstanding connection to the anime’s character design, original hand-drawn artwork by Sudo holds particular significance for collectors of Detective Conan and Japanese animation production art.

This piece features Conan Edogawa in a classic front-facing portrait, drawn directly on a standard Japanese shikishi board with pencil and colored pencil. His signature glasses, blue suit, red bow tie, and confident expression are clearly rendered, giving the work an immediately recognizable and highly collectible appearance.

Unlike a reproduction, print, or mass-produced signed item, this is a unique 1/1 original artwork. The illustration, coloring, and signature were all executed directly on the shikishi board by the artist himself.

Original character artwork of this type by a principal Detective Conan character designer is rarely encountered on the open market, especially in a complete colored composition featuring Conan himself. This combination of artist, character, hand-drawn execution, color, signature, and one-of-a-kind status makes the piece particularly desirable for serious collectors.

A FANCOLLER Certificate of Authenticity is included with the artwork.
